VETERINARIAN

Dr. Seth Williams

Dr. Williams is a born and bred St. Louisan. In 2021, he fulfilled his dream of establishing MetroVet. Dr. Williams completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and went on study veterinary medicine at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. He is especially passionate about preventative medicine, surgery, nutrition, and strengthening the human-animal bond.

When not practicing, Dr. Williams is an avid ice hockey player and golfer (though he won’t be seen on the PGA tour quite yet) and is a die-hard Miami Hurricanes fan. His family is his most prized possession – he and his wife, Becca, have two young boys. His family is completed with two four-legged children Cane, the Golden Retriever, and Chase, the Cockapoo.

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Emily Goyda

Dr. Emily Goyda is a St. Louis native who attended the University of Missouri, where she received both her undergraduate degree in animal science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She’s thrilled to be a part of the MetroVet team and to help further MetroVet’s mission of providing high-quality, compassionate, and collaborative care to her patients and their owners. Her main interests include preventative medicine and nutrition, dentistry and surgery, internal medicine, and behavior. Above all else, Dr. Goyda is thankful to have the opportunity to help owners and their pets have long, happy, healthy lives together and strives to create a trusting, empathetic relationship with all her clients and patients.

Dr. Goyda grew up in Kirkwood and currently lives in Dogtown with her four dogs (she acknowledges that she’s completely crazy) named Izzy, Chewy, Olivia, and Hank, and her cats, Tory and Biscuit, who are all spoiled rescues (and also her husband, Ryan). Her favorite things outside of veterinary medicine are traveling, hosting friends and family, eating good food (please send her all of your restaurant suggestions, and she’ll gladly share hers), and Trader Joe’s.

Destiny's Bio

Destiny was raised in an Air Force family and spent her childhood all across America. The only thing that stayed consistent was the many pets her family had. She started her career in veterinary medicine in Seattle at an AHHA-accredited hospital. There she learned a strong foundation of medicine that built on her deep level of caring and compassion for companion animals.

When she’s not at work, Destiny loves to go camping, make crafts, and go roller-skating. She also takes her cat, Freya, on weekly hikes to explore the parks of St. Louis. Carlisle (aka Carl)

Security Meow-nager

Carlisle's Bio

Carl joined the MetroVet family shortly after our opening in March 2022. He enjoys checking on our hospitalized patients, walking across our computers, and asking for a good pet. When not sampling everyone’s lunches, he spends most of his day napping in one of his favorite spots. MetroVet would not be the same without Carl, who always brings a smile to our staff’s and clients’ faces.
